I took it on a 3 month camping trip last year. When you are out in the bush, you haven't got much water to play with & you have to be very careful about pouring detergent onto the ground.

Using Brewclean instead of detergent, we removed excess food with a paper towel, sprayed the dishes & pots with Brewclean, left them for a few minutes then rinsed them in cold water. Creek water & sea water worked just as well as fresh water. Because brewclean is totally non-polluting, we were able to discard the rinsing water without a worry.

A Unique Expedition

Some people hop on the bike to get some exercise on the local bike paths. Others are a little more ambitions but here is someone who is going to ride his bicycle (leg power only) all the way around the world.

His name is Ben Rodgers-Wilson & he used to work for us.

So far, he has ridden from Melbourne to north Queensland, sailed from there to Darwin & then on to Indonesia where he caught Malaria. After a couple of weeks in hospital, he made his way to Singapore. Since then he has ridden up through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam & China up to Shanghai.

His funds are very low now so he has had to put the journey on hold while he spends a season in Japan teaching English.

With luck, he'll be off again next year back across China from Shanghai to Tibet & then on through Kazakstan & Russia to Europe.
