HOW TO US pH BUFFER TABLETS
Eutech pH Buffer Tablets Instructions
Note that the tablets are colour coded. pH4=RED, pH7=YELLOW
- Add 30ml of distilled/de-ionized water to a small clean container .
- Add 1 buffer tablet of the required value & agitate till the tablet disintegrates.
- Stand the container for approx 2 minto ensure it is completely dissolved & to allow any insoluble particles to settle..,
- Check that the colour corresponds to the buffer value required.
- Calibrate your pH meter according to the meter's instructions
Note: Before calibration, insert your pH electrode into distilled/de-ionized water. It is also important to rinse the electrode before using a different buffer solution.
